People interested in the game are going to check out the OP. What is this about using a microphone during the RTS moments? Wow, good to know this since I'm shooting for 100%. :P Too bad, you only found everything in the game and beat it on the hardest difficulty. Oops, you didn't know killing enemies the Ironheade guys are beating on in random events out in the world nets you 15 Fire Tribute per battle, so you can't afford the final upgrade from Ozzy! Oops, you didn't use the microphone during RTS fights - no concept art for you, and no 100%! Then I drive from Bladehenge back to the final Legend to get my 100%. When it came down to the final RTS fight I tried out a strat I'd been bouncing around in my head and it worked perfectly. I'm not sure I'll try to platinum BL, but I wanted to do what I normally do - get 100% - so after my initial playthrough (on Brutal, but the final RTS fight kicked my ass so I turned it down to Casual), I set it to Brutal difficulty again and found every single Serpent, Legend, Buried Metal, Landmark and Motorforge in the game. This has probably been covered earlier in the thread (or in the last one), but damn this is a piss-off: It makes small infantry float in the air, but it also does contant damage to anything else. If you have free time to personaly wail on a Frightwig, use Roman Candle (X Y Y). And You have to hit them long and hard to take care of them. Getting "rid" of wigs? You mean playing against DD? Frightwigs are DD's most durable infantry unit, to make up for their lack of initial offense. But that's why I'm all up in Brutal Legends thang. Which is a little inconvenient because there hasn't been a good one in ten years. Ya see, these are the only kinds of RTSs I play. So any of you Drowning Doom players have some advice for a new player on getting rid of wigs?Īlriiiight. The game has started to "click" I guess and it's a lot more fun than I gave it credit for at first. I'm surprised by how much the stage battles grew on me given how bad I am at RTS games. So, very gradually, I'm going through the game on Brutal when I have some spare time. I picked this game up at launch after being all excited about it since I heard about but got put off by the stage battles.
